The Shepherd's Boy

An Aesop's Fable

There was at one time a youthful Shepherd Boy who tended his sheep at the foot of a mountain close to a dim timberland. It was somewhat desolate for him throughout the day, so he thought upon an arrangement by which he could get a little organization and some energy. He hurried down towards the town getting out "Wolf, Wolf," and the villagers turned out to meet him, and some of them halted with him for a significant time. This satisfied the kid so much that a couple days a while later he attempted the same trap, and again the villagers went to his assistance. However, soon after this a Wolf really came out from the woods, and started to stress the sheep, and the kid obviously shouted out "Wolf, Wolf," still louder than some time recently. Be that as it may, this time the villagers, who had been tricked twice some time recently, thought the kid was again misleading them, and no one blended to go to his assistance. So the Wolf made a decent supper off the kid's rush, and when the kid

grumbled, the insightful man of the town said:
