A Hart fervently by the dogs fled for shelter into a bull slow down, and covered itself in a truss of roughage, leaving nothing to be seen except for the tips of his horns. Not long after the Hunters came up and inquired as to whether any one had seen the Hart. The stable young men, who had

been resting after their supper, looked round, yet could see nothing, and the Hunters left. In the blink of an eye a while later the expert came in, and looking round, saw that something uncommon had occurred. He indicated the truss of roughage and said: "What are those two inquisitive things standing out of the feed?" And when the stable

young men came to look they found the Hart, and soon made an end of him. He hence learnt that:
